1. Provider

2. Reference only

HS codes, duty rates, notes, rulings and everything the tools return are reference information, not legal advice, and not an opinion or ruling of any customs authority. Results may be wrong or out of date. You (or your customs broker) decide and remain responsible for what you declare; always check the original legal text in force.

3. Who it is for

The service is intended for people declaring goods in Vietnam. Support is in Vietnamese, with minimal English.

4. Access without an account

Applies only to the lookup tools listed on the pricing page, with hourly and daily limits. OZ may change limits or suspend one or all tools at any time (for example during maintenance or in case of abuse).

5. Accounts, keys and points

Your OZ key is personal; do not share or publish it. Report a suspected leak immediately so it can be revoked.
Paid tools charge points per the price list after the daily trial calls are used (tools that do not use trial calls charge from the first call). Points held for a call that does not succeed are refunded.
Point price: Trial phase: points are not sold publicly; the point price is quoted individually when you contact OZ.
Top-ups, invoices: Top up by bank transfer in Vietnamese dong (VND) to the company account: CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN DỊCH VỤ VÀ THƯƠNG MẠI QTOZ VIỆT NAM — account number 19128819290889 at Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank). Put your account's phone number or email in the transfer note. Points are credited manually after OZ reconciles the transfer. You provide your own invoicing details.
Refunds of points: To have unused points refunded, contact OZ to agree on the terms.

6. Not allowed

Evading or exceeding limits (rotating addresses, creating many accounts), bulk scraping, overloading the service, or any unlawful use.

7. Data licences

Nội dung của WCO (ngoại lệ của CC BY-SA)

data/wco-op/ chứa Tuyển tập ý kiến phân loại (Compendium of Classification Opinions) của Tổ chức Hải quan Thế giới (WCO), ấn bản HS 2022 — bản OCR tiếng Anh (opinions.json), bản dịch tiếng Việt không chính thức (vi.json) và các câu trích dùng để kiểm sổ tay (so-tay-trich.json). Các ý kiến này thuộc bản quyền của WCO.

Tuyên bố của chủ dự án (Oz): Oz tuyên bố đã trả phí bản quyền để sử dụng và công bố nội dung này, và công khai nó trong dự án này (CEO Oz xác nhận ngày 10/10/2026, áp dụng từ 11/10/2026). Dự án không giữ và không công bố chi tiết hợp đồng bản quyền.

Nội dung này KHÔNG được cấp phép theo CC BY-SA. Giấy phép của dự án chỉ áp dụng cho công sức biên soạn của dự án. Mọi quyền khác đối với nội dung WCO thuộc WCO; muốn tái phân phối ngoài phạm vi Oz đã được phép, hãy liên hệ WCO.

Bản dịch tiếng Việt là bản dịch phái sinh, không chính thức (máy dịch, soát mẫu; chỗ nghi lỗi OCR ghi [?]). Bản OCR có thể sai chữ/ký tự — đối chiếu bản gốc trước khi dẫn trong hồ sơ Hải quan.

Unofficial English summary (the Vietnamese text above prevails):

hs-code-api data (tariff schedule, TB-TCHQ rulings, legal documents…) is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Reuse requires attribution: "Nguồn: HS Knowledge Base (github.com/ozvietnam/hs-code-api)", the licence, and the data version; state any modifications.
WCO content is an exception and is NOT under CC BY-SA. The Compendium of Classification Opinions of the World Customs Organization (WCO), HS 2022 edition, is copyright of the WCO. Oz states that it has paid licence fees to use and publish this content; the project does not keep or publish the details of the licence agreement. The project's licence covers only the project's compilation work. All other rights belong to the WCO; to redistribute beyond what Oz is permitted, contact the WCO. The Vietnamese translation is an unofficial derivative translation; the OCR text may contain errors, so check the original before citing it in customs filings.
Vietnamese legal normative documents are not subject to copyright (Article 15, Law on Intellectual Property); the licence covers the compilation work.

On the gateway side: results of lookup tools over hs-code-api data carry the licence in nguon[].giayPhep, the attribution line in nguon[].ghiCong, and the data version in nguon[].phienBan when hs-code-api returns one. Results of tra_y_kien_wco keep hs-code-api's banQuyen field unchanged.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. Lookup results, HS classifications and duty information are for reference only and are not an official classification decision; the customs declarant is responsible for the codes and content declared, and the customs authority has the final say. To the extent permitted by law, OZ is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of results; OZ's total liability (if any) does not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the most recent 3 months.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are first settled by negotiation and conciliation; failing that, they are brought before the competent People's Court in Hanoi.

10. Changes

OZ publishes new versions on this page. A new version takes effect from the date it is published. Whenever OZ raises the terms version number, every tool (except xem_tai_khoan) is paused for accounts using an OZ key and for accounts that sign in with email until you confirm that you agree to the new version; xem_tai_khoan shows which version you have agreed to.
